Digital Zoom Consultation in English

Tuesday from 19:00 to 20:00

The Swiss Liver Patients Association Swiss HePa is a bridge to link patients with liver specialists. This is supported by Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Peter Schemmer in 2024. During online consultations he will answer medical questions in a comprehensible language and will provide recommendations and insights into various liver diseases.

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Peter Schemmer

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Peter Schemmer, Head of the Liver Clinic Switzerland, Senior Consultant of both the Pancreas Clinic Switzerland and the Bern Visceral Surgery, Hirslanden Hospital Beau-Site, will address both general issues of the daily life with a liver disease and specific topics like

  • causes
  • distribution
  • signs and symptoms of liver diseases
  • people at risk
  • diagnosis and course of the disease
  • treatment options
  • surveillance
  • recommended vaccinations
  • sexuality and pregnancy

The direct contact and dialogue – between physician and patient – in a confidential setting can be a great support. Since 2022 we offer online consultations with Zoom successfully. Thus Swiss HePa would like to draw your attention to the quarterly scheduled appointments in 2024:

Tuesday from 19:00 to 20:00:
