«Liver is life»: an underestimated organ
We want to raise awareness, share experiences and support those affected.

Liver diseases - whether acute or chronic, genetic, viral, autoimmune, common or rare - are not talked about enough in public and those affected and their relatives often lack active support: "We aim to change this!"

That's why we founded the first national Swiss Liver Patients Association - Swiss HePa - in 2017. An important goal for us is to raise awareness of the diversity of liver diseases. Through our online and offline activities, the annual Swiss HePa "Swiss Liver Day", patient education and personal counselling, we offer an exchange of experiences and support for those affected and their relatives: "Together we are strong."
