Sharing experiences and supporting those affected

Until November 2017 there was no national organisation in Switzerland for patients affected by liver diseases. This is why we founded Swiss HePa. The most important aims of our organisation are as follows:

• Establishment of a patient members' network as well as a platform for doctors and specialist caregivers
• Establishment of support groups and provision of further information to build trust and mutual support
• Increase social acceptance in order to raise awareness among health insurance companies, authorities, companies and other organisations and associations
• Raising awareness of rare liver diseases among primary care doctors
