Educational meetings for specialist doctors

Dear medical specialists for people affected by Wilson’s disease

Our “Morbus Wilson Switzerland Association” offers regular meetings for medical specialists to educate themselves or others about the latest research and developments in the field of Wilson’s Disease (Morbus Wilson, MW) and to exchange information.
The central aim of these meetings is to bring together the different perspectives of the “Wilson medical community”, mainly consisting of hepatology, neurology and psychiatry, so that they can directly and personally exchange information, keep up to date and learn from each other.

At the same time, these MW expert meetings provide a unique opportunity for a direct exchange with those affected, experiencing different symptoms and having individual experiences with their respective therapies. The advantage of these meetings is the exchange between all participants.

New and unusual therapeutic approaches that may help to alleviate the various symptoms can also be presented and discussed.

These special meetings take place in Switzerland (Solothurn)
and are completely free of charge.
The first meeting of this kind will take place on Saturday, 9 March 2024,
which is “Morbus Wilson Day Switzerland”

(held annually on the second Saturday in March).

We plan to hold these special meetings every two years. Participants will
be able to help determine the content and focus of the meetings.

Perhaps you have a particular topic of interest or would like the opportunity to present your findings and experiences to an audience? If so, we would love to hear from you.
