Christmas message for the Swiss HePa video with the Rössli carousel
Carousel of life
Dear liver patients and their families,
dear doctors,
supporters,
during the Christmas season, a merry-go-round reminds us of the cycles of life. It turns incessantly – sometimes slowly, sometimes faster – and represents hope, movement and community. This is exactly what Swiss HePa also represents.
Above all, we want to give our patients and their families courage. We know that living with a liver disease is often full of challenges and uncertainties. But you are not alone. Swiss HePa is here to build bridges – between patients, their families, medical professionals and everyone else who is part of this journey.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the doctors who build trust day after day with their knowledge, support and empathy. Their role as partners in dialogue with patients is irreplaceable.
As a patient organisation, we promote interdisciplinary exchange and create platforms that enable the sharing of experiences and support. This collaboration makes it possible to provide those affected with a strong network and education.
Special thanks also go to industry, whose contributions to research and development offer hope for new therapies. At the same time, they ensure that voluntary organisations such as Swiss HePa can offer a wide range of activities, both online and offline. Thanks to this support, we can continue to hold the annual Swiss Liver Day, provide information and offer long-term support to those affected.
And let’s not forget our dedicated volunteers. Every day, they ensure that our platforms, services and daily support for liver patients and their families remain accessible and visible.
Swiss HePa stands for awareness, community and support. Together we are strong. This Christmas season, let us celebrate our connection, recharge our batteries and look to the future with confidence.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas, much optimism and, above all, good health in the New Year.
