The two-day event will be held in Lugano, in English. It is mainly aimed at doctors. However, patient and self-help representatives are welcome and can attend free of charge. On the first day, there will be a session for patient representatives in the morning (also in English). It is not yet known whether digital participation will also be possible.
To get a broader overview of the situation of patients with AIH, we have created an anonymous and patient-oriented online survey in several languages for patients with AIH.
We would be pleased if you as an AIH patient could support us with your answers to the survey.

That is why a doctor-patient relationship of trust with a comprehensive exchange of information and personal responsibility is very important. You are welcome to report experience of this to Swissmedic.

“How dangerous is death cap mushroom poisoning?” Dr. Jüngst impressively describes this highly poisonous lamellar fungus and the life-threatening consequences, which require rapid action: Therefore, call the emergency room or Tox Info Suisse 145 immediately!
“What is drug-induced liver injury (DILI)?” DILI is rare, but more common than thought, as more and more studies show, Dr Jüngst confirms to us. Key for the right therapy are diagnosis, exclusion diagnosis, the DILI – prognosis (e.g. by Hy’s Law) and the determination of risk factors. It is recommended to first discuss a corresponding notification to Swissmedic with the attending physician.
“What is drug-induced liver injury (DILI)?” Dr Jüngst distinguishes between two categories of DILI, namely overdose and hypersensitivity reactions. Frequency and severe symptoms further indicate the importance of good consultation with the GP and personal responsibility with medications.
